3. Armie Hammer

Just as the commercial failure of movies like Battleship and John Carter put the brakes on Taylor Kitsch’s career, the same seems to have happened with Armie Hammer after the release of The Lone Ranger earlier this year. Right or wrong, he no longer appears to be the profitable star many in Hollywood considered him to be this time last year. Neither taking on a role as a Marvel superhero nor starring in a Netflix series would exactly be a step down, especially as both of those have attracted A-List stars in the recent past (Anthony Hopkins appeared in both Thor movie and Kevin Spacey made each and every episode of House of Cards a must-see). If anything, it would provide Hammer with the career boost he could do with at this point, and more to the point, he’s a good fit for the role and comic book fans have been desperate to see him take on a superhero role since he was linked to Batman a number of years ago.
