Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the sequel to 2006’s Silent Hill (itself an adaptation of Konami’s survival-horror video game), took to Comic-Con earlier this month and brought with it a first red-band clip featuring a host of killer nurses.

The nightmares are about to begin once more this Halloween, and Yahoo Movies have treated us to our first good look at the film with its trailer debut.

“Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.”

Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane) is behind the camera this time around, directing from his own script, with a host of new and old faces alike, headed up by Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss, Radha Mitchell, and Malcolm McDowell – a pretty impressive horror cast.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D will be heading into US theatres on 26th October this year, before a release on Halloween itself here in the UK, on 31st October. For now, here’s your first good look to tie you down. Enjoy.
