7. The Technodrome
The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 trailer was arguably better than anyone expected, and the introductions of characters like Beebop, Rocksteady, and Casey Jones already have fans happy. However, one particularly interesting moment in this footage from the movie comes when we see the foursome leaping through the sky on blocks which appear to be heading towards some sort of portal. Could they be pieces of the Technodrome?
For those of you unfamiliar with that, it’s the near unstoppable mobile fortress of Krang and Shredder, and seeing as we’ve heard a lot of hints about the former making his presence felt in this movie – likely to set up a third instalment – it would be awesome to see that on screen!
6. Mads Mikkelsen As Dormammu
Less a specific moment and more a general request to Marvel, it’s essential that Mads Mikkelsen – who came close to playing Malekith in Thor: The Dark World – ends up being revealed as Dormammu in Doctor Strange next year.
The fiery villain could be brought to the big screen in a number of ways, and while it seems as if either Chiwetel Ejiofor (Baron Mordo) or Michael Stuhlbarg (Nicodemus West) could end up being the Sorcerer Supreme’s main foe as of right now, revealing that the fiery the Ruler of the Dark Dimension is the true big bad is a must.
However, Dormammu definitely shouldn’t be one of Marvel’s one and done villains as he has the potential to be an even greater threat to the MCU than even Thanos!
5. Magneto Becomes The Leader Of The X-Men
In the X-Men comics, Magneto has taken on many roles, frequently switching between hero and villain. However, seeing as the previous two X-Men movies ended by teasing the formation of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and then failed to deliver on that (he’ll have essentially retired when X-Men: Apocalypse begins), the Master of Magnetism taking on a different role in the X-Men Universe moving forward would be no bad thing.
Like his comic book counterpart, he should end up leading the team, preferably alongside Professor X. This would be a major status quo shift, but finally means we’d get an X-Men movie without him taking on the role of an antagonist, and that alone is reason enough to hope this happens.
4. Doomsday Transforms
If you have a Twitter account, then chances are you definitely didn’t miss the uproar surrounding Doomsday’s appearance in the latest trailer for Batman v Superman. The relatively unimpressive CGI aside, it was the design which upset the majority of fans, with the once fearsome monster responsible for killing Superman reduced to a cross between The Incredible Hulk’s Abomination and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
However, if that’s just his initial appearance before a transformation, all that moaning will have been for naught. One rumour claimed that when Wonder Woman cuts off Doomsday’s arm, a blade grows back, so if he transforms and evolves as he fights The Trinity, there’s still hope for this iconic villain!
