BAFTA mask

Yes, it’s early but we don’t care – it’s never too early to enjoy the 2014 award nominations and we’ve got a fancy live stream for you below.

In recent years the critical gap between the BAFTAs and their American counterpart seems to have drifted closer together however there’s always the chance that the British Academy will choose to look at its own brightest and best when it comes to throwing a spotlight on the best of the year.

Recent addition to Peter Jackson’s Middle-Earth Luke Evans and Harry Potter stalwart Helen McCrory (soon to be seen in Hammer’s sequel to The Woman in Black as well as John Logan’s Victorian Monsterama Penny Dreadful) are reading the nominations out loud – the whole shebang is set to kick off around 7.30AM. We’ll have the nominations in full up on the site very shortly.
