One of the most anticipated films in the London Film Festival line up this year is Argo, Ben Affleck’s third film as director.

The film tells the true story of the attempt to rescue six American government workers who escape from their besieged embassy in Iran during the 1979 Revolution. Argo is a brilliantly tense thriller whose surreal story of a CIA operation to pose as a fake film crew in Iran allows Affleck to flex his directing muscles with spectacular results.

Our guys Ben Mortimer and Colin Hart were on the red carpet in London this evening to talk with Affleck and his fellow cast members John Goodman and Bryan Cranston as well as Executive Producer Graham King.

There was a lot of love for Argo this year at the festival and on the 7th of November, when the film goes on general release, everyone will have the chance to see one of the best films of the year.

Here are tonight’s interviews,
