You may remember that, upon talking your seats to Cats and Dogs 2: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole and Yogi Bear, you were first treated to one of three shiny new Looney Tunes shorts, exquisitely rendered in 3D.

To mark over 50 years of voicing the label’s Granny character, Warner Bros. Animation recently screened June Foray’s latest project for revellers celebrating the actress’ long career: the new Sylvester and Tweety Bird cartoon, I Tawt I Taw A Puddy Tat.

The latest 3D short, and the first of the new series not to feature Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, is set to debut before prints of Happy Feet Two when it is released in U.K. theatres on December 2nd of this year.

Following a triage of excellent shorts, and once again directed by Matthew O’Callaghan, we can only hope that I Tawt I Taw A Puddy Tat is not – as has been the case to date – the best thing about the feature itself.

Collider had this one first.

I don’t know about you, but this is one resurgence I’m more than happy to see continue.
