1. Batman and Robin

Batman and Robin

Don’t pretend you didn’t see this one coming! As we’ve already established, the Batman franchise was not in a good place back in the 90s, but Batman and Robin would be the movie that very nearly killed the Caped Crusader’s big screen adventures for good. Regardless of whether it was the terrible costumes, the terrible acting (thanks again for forever ruining Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman) or the fact that the whole thing was a blatant toy commercial, this one doesn’t have so much as a single redeeming quality. It would take a very long time until Batman would ever find any critical or commercial success, but eight years later, Christopher Nolan made things right with Batman Begins and his Dark Knight Trilogy.
