3. The Rhino
Sony are doing a great job of keeping The Rhino under wraps, and while he has been featured on a poster for the movie, this trailer includes only a single new shot of Aleksei Sytsevich (played by Paul Giamatti) suited up and in action.
As the majority of fans had speculated, this version of the villain will see the Russian mobster wearing a battle suit of some sort, standing on two feet to fire weapons at Spider-Man. This is certainly a lot different to all iterations of the comic book version – those feature The Rhino wearing a suit which sees him using a horn on his head as a primary weapon – so it should prove to be extremely interesting seeing how it all plays out. Before fans start panicking though, it’s worth considering the fact that this could just be an early prototype!
