8. Improved CGI


Despite the fact that the first trailer was received extremely positively, the main complaint was that some of Sony Pictures Imagework’s CGI just didn’t look as good as it should, with many going so far as to say the special effects didn’t look all that much better than a video game. A harsh – and arguably unfair – criticism, but there’s no denying that the movie looked a little unfinished in places.

However, with the release date looming, it’s clear that Sony have upped their game and the footage contained in this latest teaser is pretty much flawless. The handful of CGI heavy scenes which were also included in the last trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 that are repeated here look considerably improved, leaving one less thing for fanboys to moan about!
