6. The Green Goblin’s Transformation
The Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 appears to be a fairly unique creation. For a start, it’s Harry Osborn who takes on the mantle before his father in this movie, while he also appears to be completely different to anything in the comics. This version wears a suit (just like in 2002’s Spider-Man and in the regular Marvel Universe), but also seems to have been mutated by taking the Goblin serum. Is what we’re seeing in this trailer just an early stage of Harry’s transformation before he goes full on monster, or will it be his father who perfects the formula in The Amazing Spider-Man 3, later donning the classic costume from the comic books?
