6. The Suicide Squad Have Appeared In Arrow

Arrow

If you’d like to see more of the Suicide Squad in action outside of the comic books, then Arrow is a great place to look.

The team appeared in an episode titled “Suicide Squad” and while it didn’t feature costumes or a big budget, it did show off their dynamic, particularly in regards to how the ruthless Amanda Waller controls them and doesn’t hesitate to hit the kill switch when they disobey her. If you’re not already watching this series, you should be, and the demand for a Suicide Squad spin-off hasn’t stopped since they appeared in Arrow.

The main difference between the big and small screen versions will probably come down to the budget, with the movie utilising big name characters who would never work in a show like Arrow.

  1. dredd’s rating had nothing to do with the fact that it bombed, it was poor marketing efforts from the studio and the fact that it was only available in 3D at a lot of theaters.

  3. id rather watch a movie with the actors from arrow then big name actors wouldnt feel right after seeing them in arrow and they did a great job so why change it for big name actors that will probably just ruin it like most big names actors do to comic book heroes

  4. It’s on the internet who’s been cast, and for what role already. Apparently the Joker is coming back, and it’s Jared Leto. (?) Dunno. It’s the internet. Take that with a grain of salt.

Also, as someone who knows almost nothing of the comic book property this is based on, I’d personally hope for an R rating. I’m sick of Disney/Marvel ‘childing’ down everything for a buck. I hope the DC people at least grow some balls and don’t do that as much. Forcing a movie to be PG/PG-13 is always a bad idea. Not everything has to be vile, gory,(or sexy), etc. but some things should be. It helps tell their story.

  5. This movie will not be like Guardians, because is about villains. And I really want to see it, for so many reason you said like Harley Quinn, their cast and the possible plot. I think The Joker will be the villain because he isn’t a member and he’s too dangerous. Too bad DC just make us wait :´(
