2. Kaine, a.k.a. The Scarlet Spider
Kaine is yet another clone of Peter Parker’s, but unlike Ben Reilly, this scared and twisted version of Spider-Man made it his sole goal to make the lives of those two a living hell.
His actions were far from heroic, but after sacrificing himself to save his “brother” Peter, Kaine was resurrected and given another chance at life. Taking one of Spider-Man’s suits, he moved to Houston and became a hero, tackling a number of threats from his past life along the way.
Ever since Christopher Nolan’s dark take on Batman, gritty superhero movies have appealed to many Hollywood studios and Kaine Parker is without a doubt the “dark and gritty” Spidey they may want to bring to the big screen!
