5. Bullet Train (The Wolverine)
The bullet train sequence in The Wolverine is possibly THE best action sequence of the year, starting inside the train and later moving to the top of it. It was a pulse pounding few minutes featuring flawless CGI and top notch stunt work.
It was also no easy feat for director James Mangold or star Hugh Jackman to make this take on Wolverine feel fresh after five previous appearances in the X-Men movies, especially as the character has already been featured in so many action sequences. However, this scene served as proof that there’s plenty of life left in the clawed mutant, and Mangold scored brownie points for recreating one of Wolverine’s most iconic comic book poses (as seen in the shot above).

Yeah, no. Top 10 moments from comic movies that I felt like putting into a clickvertising list, sure.
Collector scene, granted it’s been close to two decades since I read comics books, but the first thing I did when I got home was google who the hell that was at the end. Read it all, and still had no idea who it was.
Days of Future Past tie in was probably my favorite, giving additional credit to it because I didn’t have to wait through the entirety of the credits to see it! However the fact the author says The Wolverine is the movie the fans want? Yeah… got to disagree like a billion percent with that.
So am I the only one that remembers that Superman killed all three of the Kryptonians in the end of Superman II?
