7. Days of Future Past (The Wolverine)
James Mangold’s The Wolverine exceeded everyone’s expectations, finally giving fans the solo Wolverine movie they were hoping for after 2009’s awful X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Taking a page out of Marvel’s book, the film included a mid-credits scene which perfectly set the scene for Bryan Singer’s return to the X-franchise in next year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Of course, it didn’t really help make the confusing continuity of these movies any clearer as it featured a resurrected version of Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier and a Magneto (Ian McKellen) who once again had his powers! Even so, between their exchange with Logan and the “Trask” Easter egg playing on a TV in the background (they’re the creators of the Sentinels), this proved to be the perfect teaser.

Yeah, no. Top 10 moments from comic movies that I felt like putting into a clickvertising list, sure.
Collector scene, granted it’s been close to two decades since I read comics books, but the first thing I did when I got home was google who the hell that was at the end. Read it all, and still had no idea who it was.
Days of Future Past tie in was probably my favorite, giving additional credit to it because I didn’t have to wait through the entirety of the credits to see it! However the fact the author says The Wolverine is the movie the fans want? Yeah… got to disagree like a billion percent with that.
So am I the only one that remembers that Superman killed all three of the Kryptonians in the end of Superman II?
