9. Meet The Collector (Thor: The Dark World)
If you’re not a comic book reader, the Thor: The Dark World mid-credits scene more than likely left you completely baffled. However, for those that do, this was a huge tease of what’s to come in both James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy and most likely the third Avengers movie.
In the comics, The Collector works for Thanos (the alien who briefly appeared in the mid-credits scene of The Avengers) and the reveal that the Aether is in fact one of the Infinity Stones/Gems is a major hint that the bad guy is indeed searching for them in an effort to use The Infinity Gauntlet as part of his plan to take over Earth. As we’ve mentioned, this likely won’t come into play until at least a few years from now – although both The Collector and Thanos are expected to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy – but for those keeping track, this is extremely exciting indeed.

Yeah, no. Top 10 moments from comic movies that I felt like putting into a clickvertising list, sure.
Collector scene, granted it’s been close to two decades since I read comics books, but the first thing I did when I got home was google who the hell that was at the end. Read it all, and still had no idea who it was.
Days of Future Past tie in was probably my favorite, giving additional credit to it because I didn’t have to wait through the entirety of the credits to see it! However the fact the author says The Wolverine is the movie the fans want? Yeah… got to disagree like a billion percent with that.
So am I the only one that remembers that Superman killed all three of the Kryptonians in the end of Superman II?
