1. Superman Kills Zod (Man of Steel)
If you thought that the controversy among comic book fans in regards to Trevor was extreme, then that was nothing compared to the way that many reacted to how Superman dealt with Zod at the conclusion of their final battle. Thousands of civilians had already died, but when the Kryptonian general used his heat vision to very nearly kill another family and made it clear that he wouldn’t stop, the Man of Steel realised that there was only one way to stop him; by breaking his neck.
This was a shocking scene which took just about everyone by surprise. After all, it’s rare to see a superhero take a life, especially one as iconic and virtuous as Superman, hence why so many people were so displeased by David Goyer and Zack Snyder’s decision to end the movie as they did. Still, it was a bold – and understandable – decision, and an undeniably powerful way to end their battle!

Yeah, no. Top 10 moments from comic movies that I felt like putting into a clickvertising list, sure.
Collector scene, granted it’s been close to two decades since I read comics books, but the first thing I did when I got home was google who the hell that was at the end. Read it all, and still had no idea who it was.
Days of Future Past tie in was probably my favorite, giving additional credit to it because I didn’t have to wait through the entirety of the credits to see it! However the fact the author says The Wolverine is the movie the fans want? Yeah… got to disagree like a billion percent with that.
So am I the only one that remembers that Superman killed all three of the Kryptonians in the end of Superman II?
