We’ve just been given the heads up on a new trailer for a British Inde movie called ‘Painkiller’. It’s a short film written by Selina Lim, Directed by Mustapha Kseibati (website here) and starring Benedict Wong, Franz Drameh (which you’ll have seen in Attack the Block which if you haven’t seen you NEED to buy now) and Kris Saddler. A short black comedy which sees street-smart Dominic’s armed robbery of a convenience store go wrong when he crosses paths with hard-working Jay, a taxi driver with nothing left to lose. Mutual contempt soon turns into a kind of understanding, but not without some pain along the way.
