Later this month, a new version of X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released on DVD and Blu-ray. The “Rogue Cut” contains over 17 minutes of new footage and adds an entire subplot about Anna Paquin’s Rogue. The release will also include brand new special features not included on the previous release.

Fox has released a trailer for the film as well as a number of clips offering an idea as to what we should expect. How many fans will believe it’s worth buying the film again just for Rogue remains to be seen!

“It’s a big chunk, a substantial part of the movie,” writer Simon Kinberg said of the scrapped subplot last year. “We want to give (fans) the fullest picture of the film — behind the camera, and in front of it. Every movie has scenes that are cut out, but not every movie has scenes cut out with such a beloved character.”
