Tomorrow, Wonder Woman will take centre stage at Warner Bros.’ Hall H panel at the San Diego Comic-Con. Those lucky enough to be in attendance being treated to footage is a given, but will that be released online? We just don’t know at this stage, but a trailer is something fans are desperate to see, so hopefully Warner Bros. will take note of the demand.

Regardless, Gal Gadot has taken to Twitter today to share the first poster for the movie, and it’s definitely a lot less gloomy than the ones we saw for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice! It’s a great shot of the Amazonian warrior regardless of how colourful it is though.

“Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior,” a recently released synopsis teased. “Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.” The movie is going to be set during World War I, making it very unique.

Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis. Directed by Patty Jenkins, principal photography has taken place on location in the UK, France and Italy. It’s set to be released in 2017.
