Wind River

The trailer is extremely effective in tension building within a beautiful snowy landscape; the main reason behind its effecting projection comes from the soundtrack which is scored by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.

Beginning with a young girl running across a vast snowy landscape and making the obvious fall you would expect from someone who is about to be murdered, her scream rattles out and the next thing we witness is Renner discovering her body. The rest of the trailer see’s both Renner and Olsen on the hunt for the suspect, guns in tow, finally leading to a thrilling standoff.

Wind River will hit UK cinemas September 8th

Wind River Synopsis

Wind River sees U.S. Fish & Wildlife agent Cory Lambert (Renner) discovering a body in the rugged wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation. The FBI sends in rookie agent Jane Banner (Olsen), but she’s unprepared for the difficulties created by the oppressive weather and isolation of the Wyoming winter.

When she employs Cory as a tracker, the two venture deep into a world ravaged by violence and the elements, and soon learn that the answers might not be as straightforward as they initially think.
