Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless MindOur friends at the Barbican have sent over a fabulous competition to give you lucky HeyUGuys readers the chance to see one of two films playing at The Barbican this weekend as part of their ‘Wonder on Film’ season. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Screening time: 3pm 2nd March in Cinema 3 (Beech St. London) (more info here).

Lonely Joel (Jim Carrey) and free-spirited Clementine (Kate Winslet) meet and fall in love. When the affair goes sour, Clementine erases all memories of Joel via a brain-zapping technique pioneered by a shady New York corporation, Lacuna Inc. Joel demands they perform the same service on him to forget Clementine, but then finds that he is strangely reluctant to relinquish his memories of the woman he loved, no matter how unbearably painful they are.

Mission to Lars

Screening time: 3pm 3rd March 2013 in Cinema 3 (Beech St. London) (more info here).

Lars Ulrich is a heavy metal God with his own jumbo jet. Tom Spicer lives in a care home in Devon and has Fragile X Syndrome. Tom has a dream, to meet his hero, to meet Lars. His siblings promise to make it happen, with hopes of good times and bonding. But what starts out a dream soon becomes a nightmare as Tom’s disabilities, a dysfunctional family, and heavy metal’s labyrinthine backstage world thwart the mission at every turn.
