Now under the wings of Skydance, the high concept action thriller has Jerry Bruckheimer on board to produce the story which focuses on an aging assassin who has to take the fight to a much younger version of himself. Of course the younger version is a clone who is in much better condition and in his prime, but can age and experience out class vitality and enthusiasm?

The production had failed to get off the ground on numerous occasions due to lack of advancement in visual technology, failing to live up to the concept of the premise. The idea of having two different actors to play the same character was banded around with names such as Harrison Ford and Chris O’Donnell to play the older and younger versions of the same character, even the likes of Mel Gibson and Clint Eastwood had been attached to play the lead.

Now with the technology in place to create a visual feast, it looks certain Gemini Man has finally overcome that unobtainable hurdle.
