White-Collar-Hooligan-2-England-Away-LogoWritten and directed by Paul Tanter, White Collar Hooligan 2: England Away will be hitting the big screen this May. Picking up eighteen months after Tanter’s original film, The Rise and Fall of a White Collar Hooligan, the film sees Mike and Eddie going global.

We’ve got less than three months to wait before the crime sequel arrives, and we’re lucky enough to have the first trailer to share exclusively with you. And as you can imagine, there’s more than enough to make this trailer NSFW.

Taking things international for White Collar Hooligan 2 looks to be a great move, raising the stakes and the action, and you can feel we’ve got a sweet British crime movie here coming our way in May.

“Eighteen months on from the events of The Rise & Fall of a White Collar Hooligan; Mike and Katie are living happily in Spain under witness protection and are expecting their first child. Now relaxed with their new identities, Mike goes to a football match in Barcelona but is spotted and recognised by associates of his old credit card firm, many of whom his testimony helped put away. Soon Mike finds his old life catching up with him as Katie is kidnapped and he is given four days to return all the money that Eddie stole. Desperate for help, Mike heads to New York seeking the cash he needs before returning to London for a deadly showdown.

With the stakes even higher this time, White Collar Hooligan 2 takes in international locations, bigger fights and more explosive action as Mike struggles to save Katie and his unborn child.”

Nick Nevern and Simon Phillips take the lead once more, with Rita Ramnani and Peter Barrett reprising their roles from the original film. Starring alongside them will be Vas Blackwood (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrells), Tony Denham (The Football Factory), Neil Large (Turnout), Tom Knight (He Who Dares), and Ewan Ross (The Fall of the Essex Boys).

Tanter is once more directing from his own script, and also produces alongside Alain Wildberger, Simon Phillips, and Jonathan Sothcott.

Tanter has built himself up an impressive series of credits in recent years, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he brings us next. There aren’t many writer-directors who can bring you a sequel in the space of a year, without shooting back-to-back. Following White Collar Hooligan 2, Tanter has Shame the Devil next up on his slate, which will see him transition into the detective/serial killer crime genre, and clearly he’s one to watch.

White Collar Hooligan 2: England Away will be released here in the UK on 20th May. If you’ve seen the original, that looks to be a release date you’ll want to commit to memory. And if not, you’ve still got plenty of time to pick up a copy of the first film and catch up on what you’ve missed.

And one final reminder, this first trailer is NSFW. Enjoy.
