Wes-BentleyThe line-up for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar just keeps getting better and better, almost unbelievably so.

Matthew McConaughey was the first to be cast in the leading role, with Anne Hathaway next up back in April. Since then, we’ve had news that Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy, Timothee Chalamet, and most recently Topher Grace have boarded the writer-director’s follow-up to The Dark Knight Rises.

And now Heat Vision are reporting that Wes Bentley, best known for his roles in American Beauty and The Hunger Games, will be filling the final vacant slot in the roster.

The plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, and this is what we’ve got to go on for the time being:

The film will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.

Bentley’s character description is naturally also being kept quiet, but it’s believed to be a ‘meaty supporting role’, which is excellent news.

Nolan is behind the camera, directing from his own script, which he’s written combining a script from his brother, Jonathan Nolan, and an original idea of his own.

Paramount and Warner Bros. are very interestingly working together on the film, which Nolan is producing alongside his wife and producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Lynda Obst.

Interstellar is set to be released in regular and IMAX cinemas on November 7th, 2014.
