Were-the-Millers-Character-Poster-Jennifer-AnistonWith Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston leading the cast, We’re the Millers has so much potential, and I’ve got a very good feeling that it’s going to be one of the most memorable comedies of the year.

A few weeks back, we were treated to a brilliant first trailer for the film. And now Warner Bros. have released four great new character posters for the leading quartet.

David is a small-time pot dealer whose clientele includes chefs and soccer moms, but no kids—after all, he has his scruples. So what could go wrong? Plenty. Having been jumped by a trio of gutter punks who steal his stash and his cash, they leave him in major debt to a drug lord. In order to wipe the slate clean, David must now become a big-time drug smuggler by bringing Brad’s latest shipment in from Mexico. Twisting the arms of his neighbours including a cynical stripper, a wannabe customer and a tatted-and-pierced streetwise teen, he devises a fool proof plan. One fake wife, two pretend kids and a huge, shiny campervan later, the “Millers” are on a roadtrip that is sure to end with a bang.

Sudeikis and Aniston are joined by Emma Roberts and Will Poulter, completing the on-screen fake family, with Ed Helms, Kathryn Hahn, Nick Offerman, and Thomas Lennon completing the cast very nicely.

Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball) is behind the camera, directing from a script co-written by Bob Fisher and Steve Faber (Wedding Crashers), with Sean Anders and John Morris (Sex Drive) also working on the script during its development at New Line.

We’re the Millers is set to be released on August 9th in the US, with its UK release date following later in the month on 23rd August. If you haven’t seen it already, I highly recommend going back and watching the red-band first trailer. And for now, here are the new character posters, which you can click through to enlarge.
