The winner of three Emmys, Louis C.K. has been on TV screens recently in his self-penned, unique take on a sitcom, Louie. Now, for his fourth stand-up special, he’s taken to a Phoenix theatre to unleash Louis C.K.: Oh My God upon the world.
Filmed in the Celebrity Theatre, the show will cover ‘the food chain, animals, divorce, strange anecdotes, broken morality, murder and mortality.’ To promote the HBO debut of the show, Louis C.K. has given us this EPIC trailer:
Although this trailer contains many of the cliches you’d expect to see in a run-of-the-mill stand-up promo, it’s Louis C.K.’s self-deprecating, knowing tone that really sets this apart. And let’s not mention that fact that he’s wearing a suit.
Louis C.K.: Oh My God will be aired in the US on HBO on 13th April, followed by an online release on Louis C.K.’s website in September.
Louis C.K. is playing The O2 on the 20th March and Hammersmith Apollo on the 21st.
