The countdown to the BAFTA awards continues apace and the British Academy have plundered their archives for a look at Fellowships past and future.
It was announced this week that Dame Helen Mirren would be this year’s recipient of the award, the highest honour BAFTA can bestow and here they accompany the tease of the reveal with some delightful footage of ‘The Dickie’ Attenborough handing the very first BAFTA Fellowship to Sir Alfred Hitchcock.
