Just this morning, we had a brilliant set of four new character posters from The Avengers to share with you, showing off the awesomeness that is Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and the Hulk.

Adding to the earlier four posters, we now have two more posters for your viewing pleasure, via IMP Awards, giving us two awesome new looks at Thor (with Black Widow) and Nick Fury (with Maria Hill).
Joss Whedon is of course sitting firmly in the director’s chair for what is set to be one of 2012’s biggest and best blockbusters, directing from his own script.
And we can naturally look forward to seeing the return of our favourite superheroes from the recent years’ Marvel Cinematic Universe, in the form of Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr., with Paul Bettany returning as JARVIS), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo, taking over from Edward Norton), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
Last month brought with it news that the title of the film in the UK has officially been changed to Avengers Assemble, and that news came with a great new poster to show it off.
Avengers Assemble will be with us here in the UK on 27th April, before heading out to the US as The Avengers a week later on 4th May, and will be viewable in 3D and IMAX 3D.
