The dalek-adorned red carpet turned into a veritable conveyor belt of TV talent and we were able to interview “Thick of It” and “Veep” producer Armando Ianucci, star of stage and screen Imelda Staunton, Broadchurch stars Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan, The Great British Bake-Off presenters Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, Doctor Who and Sherlock Writer / Producer Steven Moffat.

We tried to extract some Sherlock and Doctor Who secrets out of Steven Moffat, who was appropriately flanked by a dalek for the occasion. Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan told us how far into filming they got before they worked out ‘whodunnit’ plus what’s in the pipeline for them next. We got Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood talking about reviving the art of baking,  knowing what goes into your food and what particular baking tidbit they couldn’t do without.
