Another trailer appears for a final cinematic push for Intruders, a Clive Owen starring horror film which has seen many delays on getting to the big screen.

This film is being pushed out as a by-the-numbers Parent/Child horrorshow in which the dark hides all manner of nasties and with the ostensibly similar Don’t be Afraid of the Dark sinking without a trace at the end of last year (around the same time as this film was due out) they will need more than an exploding lightbulb to get those pants off of you (with scares I mean).

So, enter Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. the man who followed by Danny Boyle for 28 Weeks Later and from what we can see in this trailer, which is a far more straight down the line horrorshow than a family-led scarefest as seen in the previous trailers, what will separate this from the dozens of similar fare are the images glimpsed here of the facial displacement – something used to great effect in the 80s Twilight Zone movie.

So, here’s the trailer, it may register of your own personal interest-o-meter, the film came and went in UK cinemas so this is more for the US audience but I’ll expect it’ll be more successful on DVD.
