This-Is-The-End-PosterIf there’s one thing the world needs to see, it’s a portrait of James Franco in the nude, as painted by Seth Rogen. And thanks to Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s This Is The End, that dream is now possible; all it takes is the click of a button.

The apocalyptic comedy will be hitting theatres in the height of summer next month, and everything we’ve seen so far has it pretty much guaranteed to be the funniest film of the year.

In promoting the release of the film, Rogen has come together with co-stars Jay Baruchel, James Franco, and Danny McBride, and the four have promised to make some awesome things happen as the number of Likes on the film’s Facebook page increases. Here’s a little rundown of the offers they’ve put on the table:

500,000 Likes = danny + (wax + seth’s back)

650,000 Likes = (jay + danny) + spaghetti

800,000 Likes = seth + (james + nudity)

Amazing. The power of social media.

At the time of writing, their Facebook page is currently at about 330,000 Likes, and you know you want to help get those numbers higher. Because, let’s face it, we want to see videos of Danny waxing Seth’s back, Jay and Danny sharing a romantic moment, and, the big one (no pun intended), Seth painting James in the nude.

So let’s all spread the love and send anyone and everyone you know on over to Facebook.com/ThisisTheEnd, to hit that little Like button.

Six friends are trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, and Craig Robinson star as the awesome leading sextet. And they’re joined by a slew of famous faces, led by Emma Watson, Michael Cera, Jason Segel,Paul Rudd, Aziz Ansari, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Martin Starr, David Krumholtz, Kevin Hart, and Rihanna.

Rogen and frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg (Pineapple Express) are making their feature directorial debuts here, directing from a script they co-wrote, based on an original story by Goldberg and Jason Stone, based on the original short, Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse. Naturally, this is one of summer blockbuster that just can’t come fast enough.

And in case you’re in need of any persuading that This Is The End is going to be incredible, you can go back and watch the brilliant first red-band trailer that landed last month.

This Is The End will be hitting US theatres on June 14th, with its UK release date following shortly after on 28th June. For now, here’s the great new promo. And if you haven’t already, go and Like This Is The End on Facebook!
