Seeing as this Star Wars spinoff doesn’t start shooting until this time next year, you’re no doubt wondering why they’re looking to cast the new Han Solo so soon. Well, here’s where things get exciting. There’s apparently a plan in place for the character to make a small cameo appearance in the Gareth Edwards helmed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
That would be an interesting way to introduce the character and isn’t all that different to what Marvel has done with Spider-Man by putting him in Captain America: Civil War before his own solo outing next year. The Han Solo spinoff is currently set to be released on May 25th, 2018, and while opinions have been split on whether it’s necessary, it’s happening!
