AMC knows how to deliver good television. The fifth season of The Walking Dead came to a halt last night with the mid-season finale, and the network is already gearing up for the show’s return next year.

After the episode, the first promo for the second half of the season debuted, whetting our appetites for its anticipated return in a couple of months’ time.

Whilst it’s been rock-solid in delivering the goods each week, the network has been getting quite a bit of slack for posting a spoiler from last night’s episode online, somewhat ruining things for those unable to watch it live.

Exactly why they thought it was a good idea is somewhat beyond me, so I’d recommend avoiding the show’s Facebook page if you haven’t yet had a chance to watch it.

The Walking Dead will pick up where things left off last night on Sunday, February 8th next year.

Since graduating, I spend as much time as possible watching films/TV shows, reading books, and listening to music. So getting to write about what I love is nothing short of awesome. Biggest film-related hope for 2014/ever: Guy Ritchie announcing the RocknRolla sequel is finally moving forward.
