Ummmm….. OK. So this is all kinds of awesome!! A rather large hand has to go to the guys behind the scenes who make things like a giant pirate ship look as authentic as they possible can. And in my opinion, this looks pretty authentic (not that I have a real pirate ship to base my opinion on!)!
The Queen Anne’s Revenge is the name of Blackbeard’s (Ian McShane’s) ship in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth movie in the Pirates franchise and it’s currently docked in Hawaii as Johnny Depp and his crew film scenes from the latest movie.
I am astounded at how amazing it looks even in this one photos and would so love to go out and see it (if anyone at Disney is reading this and wants to send me on a blogger trip!!).
The ship is currently moored in Heeia Kea Boat Harbour according to Ke Alakai who have given us the photo and thanks to MovieWeb for the heads up.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is released May 2011, is directed by Rob Marshall and also stars Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.
