olivier-awards

Gemma Arterton and Stephen Mangan hosted the 2014 Olivier Awards yesterday evening, and it was a fine night for London’s theatre community.

The worlds of film and theatre are extremely close with many of the guests and nominees returning to the Royal Opera House a couple of months after the BAFTA awards took place here. Likewise success in one medium often translates to the other with a staggering fifteen years of Mamma Mia! being celebrated at the awards, and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (from Oscar winner Sam Mendes no less) takes its place high on the agenda

It’s The Book of Mormon which is likely to continue its awards success, it made a huge splash last year and has been a hot ticket ever since. We were at the awards last night to interview the nominees and guests, Stefan Pape and Colin Hart were on the carpet grabbing whom they could. Let’s take a gander at how they got on, shall we?
