With Joe Kinnaman replacing Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg in Fury director David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, the main cast is now complete. Joining the RoboCop star will be Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevigne as Enchantress and Jared Leto as The Joker.

However, it appears as if Warner Bros. are now filling out the supporting cast as Gang Related, Hostel, and World Trade Center star Jay Hernandez is said to be in negotiations for a mysterious role in the movie.

It has been mentioned that “it’s possible that he could be playing an inmate on the same cell block as The Joker, though there are several other open roles at this time.” According to previous reports, The Joker will be kept in Belle Reve prison as a Hannibal Lecter type character rather than a member of the Suicide Squad.

You have to imagine that Suicide Squad will be packed full of cameos from DC Comics villains, but there are countless possibilities for Hernandez. With production set to start in April, we should know more soon.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Jesse Eisenberg is still said to be in talks to reprise the role of Lex Luthor, while Viola Davis is also expected to sign on to play A.R.G.U.S. boss Amanda Waller any day now.
