The-Internship-PosterReuniting Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson on screen for the first time since Wedding Crashers, The Internship hits the big screen in just a few weeks, and I am counting down the days until it hits.

Vaughn and Wilson were nothing but brilliant back in the summer of 2005, with just terrific chemistry in David Dobkin’s comedy. And I can’t wait to see them back together once more, this time around under the direction of Shawn Levy.

With just a few more weeks to count down until it hits cinemas in the US, Fox have released the first clip from the film, featuring the big interview scene for the internships they’re applying for at Google.

Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students. But, gaining entrance to this utopia is only half the battle. Now they must compete with a group of the nation’s most elite, tech-savvy geniuses to prove that necessity really is the mother of re-invention.

Vaughn and Wilson are joined by a great ensemble, led by Josh Gad, Rose Byrne, Max Minghella, Jessica Szohr, and the great John Goodman.

Levy (Real Steel) is directing from a script co-written by Vaughn and Jared Stern (The Watch), based on Vaughn’s own idea for the story.

The Internship will be released in the US on June 7th, with its UK release date following a few weeks later on 4th July. Mark your calendars, folks, because this looks like it’s going to be awesome.
