The-Incredible-Burt-Wonderstone-PosterStarring Jim Carrey and Steve Carell in the leading duo, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone will be hitting theatres this March, and we’re pretty confident that it’s going to be one of the comedy highlights of the year.

We saw a brilliant first trailer and posters just before Christmas. And we’ve been treated to a great new poster this week. And now Warner Bros. have released another awesome trailer for our shores here in the UK, officially announcing with it the UK release date, opening on the same day as in the States.

“Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burt’s growing ego. But lately the duo’s greatest deception is their public friendship, while secretly they’ve grown to loathe each other.

Facing cutthroat competition from guerilla street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt, even their show looks stale. But there’s still a chance Burt and Anton can save the act—both onstage and off—if Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.”

Steve Buscemi and Olivia Wilde look to be brilliant heading up the leading stars, with James Gandolfini, Alan Arkin, Melissa Ordway, Brad Garrett, and Jay Mohr completing the cast nicely.

Don Scardino (30 Rock) is making his feature debut behind the camera, and it looks to be a fantastic debut from him. Horrible Bosses scribes John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are the men responsible for the script for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. And if Horrible Bosses is anything to go by, this film is going to be brilliant.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone will be released in the UK and US on 15th March, and we can’t wait for it to land. We’ll be bringing you all the latest from the film over the next six weeks, and you can head over to its UK Facebook to find out more. For now, here’s the great new trailer to give you a taste of what to expect. Enjoy.
