The Hunger Games instantly emerged as one of the most successful franchises of all time two years ago, and it seems like it’s drawing to an end only too soon, with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 arriving in just over two months’ time.

Jennifer Lawrence reprises her leading role as Katniss Everdeen, and everyone’s looking forward to seeing how it all progresses on the big screen from where Catching Fire left off last year. And with just weeks left on the clock before it hits, the studio has launched the main theatrical trailer.

The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage.

Lawrence is joined by Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Donald Sutherland, Natalie Dormer, Jena Malone, Sam Claflin, Robert Knepper, Stanley Tucci, Willow Shields, Jeffrey Wright, and Toby Jones, making up yet another impressive ensemble of new and returning faces.

Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) returns to direct from a script co-written by Danny Strong (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) and Peter Craig (The Town).

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 lands in regular and IMAX cinemas on November 20th in the UK and November 21st in the US.
