As the riotous comedy hits our screens this week, we were fortunate enough to sit down with the pair – who evidently share as much chemistry off camera as they do on it.

Mann – who is also Apatow’s wife – shares the screen with her two daughters Maude and Iris, and she talks with us about their futures, while Rudd tells us whether or not he felt like we was simply playing the role of Judd. Meanwhile, the pair discuss Apatow’s bad taste in clothing, working alongside familiar faces, and John Goodman’s toilets habits.

This is 40 is released in UK cinemas this Thursday (that would be Valentine’s Day for all your romantics out there!).
