We’re taking a break for the London Film Festival Premieres to being you – another London premiere. Not officially part of the 58th LFF The Drop is a film we loved when we saw it in Toronto and the chance to catch up with Tom Hardy on the red carpet was too good an opportunity to pass up.

Hardy leads Michael R. Roskam’s film which is based on a short story by Dennis Lehane, who also wrote the screenplay, and it has the sad distinction of being the very last film to feature the mighty presence of the late James Gandolfini.

The film has played well across the pond, with Hardy and Gandolfini in particular drawing accolades, not least from our own review from Toronto. Colin Hart was our man on the red carpet this evening. Here’s what went down.
