Director Jay Roach has made great hay in recent years with his take on American politics, finding the human drama behind the electoral upsets and oddities and with The Campaign he is bringing these films to what may be his biggest audience yet.
If you haven’t seen Recount, the impeccable look behind the scenes of the fallout of the Bush/Gore election, or Game Change, with Julianne Moore making for an excellent Sarah Palin, then you should consider them essential viewing; Roach’s latest film, The Campaign, has Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell battling it out for a seat in Congress.
We had the chance to attend the premiere out in LA recently and got to speak to the cast and crew, check out those interviews below and our review will be up on the site soon. Here in the UK we have to wait until the 28th of September to take in this particular show.
