In the video below, you’ll see the Batmobile racing into action as it chases down the…Jokermobile? That brightly coloured vehicle really does belong to the Clown Prince of Crime as Jared Leto and Margot Robbie were spotted on set with it last week. It appears as if this might be some sort of flashback sequence.

How this will fit into Suicide Squad is hard to say even if it is a flashback (The Joker’s capture perhaps?), but it’s nonetheless extremely exciting to see the Batman’s Batmobile in a movie like this. Why? Because it finally shows off the DC shared Cinematic Universe fans have been so desperate to see become a reality.

Ben Affleck was spotted on the set of Suicide Squad set both as Bruce Wayne and Batman not too long ago, and rumour has it that the actor has shot a scene with Leto which will be used in Batman v Superman too.

There’s a good chance that this chase relates to Harley Quinn’s origin story in Suicide Squad, especially as she’s been spotted wearing very conservative and normal clothes while interacting with The Joker, a sign perhaps that the movie will explore how Arkham Asylum’s Dr. Harley Quinzel became Harley Quinn.
