One of the best movies I’ve seen all year comes in the form of How to Train Your Dragon which features the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson and America Ferrara. The movie isn’t out until 31st March but I know you’re all going to love it. I got to see it a few weeks ago where the author, Cressida Cowell directors, Dean DeBlois, Chris Sanders and the film’s producer, Bonnie Arnold were all in attendance and have a wonderful Q&A session after the movie was complete. How to Train Your Dragon tells the story of Hiccup, a young Viking who is basically not the runt of the litter, but the runt of the whole village in a place where dragons rule the roost and you have to fight to survive. Everything changes though when Hiccup befriends Toothless, one of the most feared dragons in all of the world.
A new book which is being distributed by Titan Book is being released tomorrow called The Art Of How To Train Your Dragon and Empire have some new images from the book itself which you can buy here.
The first two pictures show some of the stages in the development of the dragons and the world of the film. The third and fourth pages give you a glimpse of the biggest dragon of the lot, while the fifth shows the dragon’s homeland and the sixth the surroundings of the Viking village.
