Jonathan Liebesman’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may not have been a critical hit, but it did well enough at the box office (close to $500 million worldwide) that a sequel was quickly dated for June 3rd, 2016.

He won’t be back for part two however, and according to a new report, Paramount Pictures are now in talks with Earth to Echo director Dave Green to helm the follow-up. Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec are returning to write and executive produce the sequel, and Michael Bay will also return to serve as a producer.

Green is also set to direct Lore, the movie which Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is attached to star in.

In other movie news, Warner Bros. have chosen Pan scribe Jason Fuchs to write the screenplay for Wonder Woman. Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones helmer Michelle MacLaren is directing, and she’s also set to work closely with Fuchs to develop the story. This is a huge project for the studio, so the pressure is on!

Gal Gadot will reprise the role of Wonder Woman in the movie which is set to be released in 2017.

Other than Pan, Fuchs other big writing credit is Ice Age: Continental Drift. However, the site reveals that he is also working on the Pan sequel, and that’s actually the first we’ve heard of plans for another Pan movie!
