Now that X-Men: Apocalypse is out, 2016’s next big superhero movie (well, supervillain movie) is DC Comics adaptation Suicide Squad. With less than two months to go before it’s released, the marketing campaign has kicked off in style, and the first TV spot has now found its way online featuring a new look at the Clown Prince of Crime and Task Force X.

There are a lot of great snippets of never before seen footage here, including the villainous team all being somewhat distracted by Harley Quinn’s skimpy attire! However, make no mistake about it; that character is more than just eye candy (she’s even getting a spinoff).

10 things needed to make the perfect Harley Quinn movie

You have to believe that Warner Bros. will be pushing Suicide Squad hard over the summer, especially after the mixed reaction to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice back in March. If this movie receives a similar response, the suits are going to be panicking even more than they seemingly already are amid some major behind the scenes shake-ups at the studio.

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck (along with a number of others; this is quite an ensemble), Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016.
