Following the release of a new batch of images from Suicide Squad (which you can check out by clicking here), Empire Magazine has released a high quality version of their subscriber’s cover along with two more which feature brand new looks at The Joker and Enchantress.

The latter will be played by Cara Delevingne, and she describes the villain – and her non-possessed human counterpart – as follows: “She’s an ancient sorceress. A feral being. She’s been trapped for so long and now she’s finally let out. June is an adventure-seeker who’s always wanted some excitement. And she gets what she wished for, in an terrible way.”

Director David Ayer meanwhile had nothing but good things to say about Jared Leto’s take on The Joker in Suicide Squad, and it sounds like he’s definitely going to steal the show!

“There’s a power to that character, and by some freaking miracle, through the incredible things Jared has done and the photography and all the other things that went into it, we’ve cooked up something transcendent,” the filmmaker teases before adding: “He’s scary.”

Suicide Squad is shaping up to be 2016’s most unique comic book movie, and both The Joker and Enchantress look great here. It sounds like Empire will be revealing more Suicide Squad themed covers over the next few days, so be sure to stay tuned to HeyUGuys for updates!
