Jake Gyllenhaal gives a powerful and emotional performance in the new inspiring international trailer for Stronger based on the true life story of Boston Marathon survivor, Jeff Bauman.

Very much like the initial trailer which debuted last month, the International trailer is immersed in grit and determination and Oscar winning emotion from Gyllenhaal who reluctantly takes a journey into the world of celebrity and heroism after losing both of his legs after being caught up in one of the bomb blasts at the 2013 Boston Marathon terrorist attack.

There is no doubt, that Gyllenhaal’s honourable performance is sure to throw him into the awards nomination pots come the end of the year.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Jeff, a 27-year-old, working-class Boston man who was at the marathon to try and win back his ex-girlfriend Erin (Tatiana Maslany). Waiting for her at the finish line when the blast occurs, he loses both his legs in the attack. After regaining consciousness in the hospital, Jeff is able to help law enforcement identify one of the bombers, but his own battle has just begun. He tackles months of physical and emotional rehabilitation with the unwavering support of Erin and his family.
