Spike’s 10-episode psychological thriller series centers on a small-town family that is torn apart by a violent crime before things take an altogether stranger turn. As they deal with the fallout of the crime an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting the town off from the rest of the world. Friends and adversaries alike become bizarre bedfellows as they battle the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

The dangerously dark trailer is filled with half decomposed faces, gaping flesh wounds, insects flying out of mouths and even a couple getting very steamy in the throes of passion. Also full of nerve wrecking jump scares, The Mist looks to give a big screen experience to the television watching audiences who love to be freaked out and scared witless, all from the comfort from your own home.

The Mist

The Mist will star Morgan Spector, who is also set to appear as Sylvester Stallone opposite Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts in “The Bleeder,” based on the true story that inspired “Rocky”, will play the title role of “Kevin Copeland”, devoted father whose rigid moral compass is tested, Alyssa Sutherland (Vikings) as “Eve Copeland”, a mother who must both protect her teen daughter while facing down her past, and Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) as “Nathalie”, ecological martyr.

The man behind series such as Fargo, 30 Rock, and Scrubs amongst other acclaimed TV shows Adam Bernstein, takes the helm on The Mist as well as joining Christian Thorpe as executive producer on the show.
