While we are wading knee-deep in the, admittedly surprising, ocean of praise for Tarsem Singh’s Mirror Mirror it seems Universal are underlining the differences between the two films all the more with this new TV spot for Snow White and the Huntsman.
While the advertising for Mirror Mirror suggested, wrongly as it has turned out, a feckless retelling of the fairy tale, smothered in candy floss with the comedic sophistication of a punch in the face while Snow White and her Huntsman had aimed for the epic from the outset and this new spot is no different. There are some nice visual ideas here and having Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsorth isn’t going to dent your box office takings now is it?
